Zodiac signs provide guidance on a host of issues. One that doesn’t get as much attention is intelligence. So, which is the most intelligent zodiac sign of the twelve signs?

Which is the most intelligent zodiac sign? Is that a dangerous question or what? We might as well just cover questions like which zodiac sign has the fattest butt or looks the best! Everyone has one answer or another, but all are highly subjective. The same goes with intelligence, but let’s have a go at identifying signs that at least are known for a focus on intelligence.


Intelligence is often attributed to the Gemini sign. In fact, Gemini’s are often considered the seekers of knowledge. They are imaginative, curious and have an incredible desire to learn things. Ultimately, the Gemini seek the truth of things whether that be a mathematical formula in physics, the ultimate philosophy of life or the piece to a puzzle that simply can’t be solved.

A classic example of an intelligent Gemini is Tim Berners-Lee. Never heard of him? He created the World Wide Web. He did this by creating software that worked in a way similar to the way the brain is thought to organize matters. He then developed a protocol for this organization. You type one of the protocols in every time you type “http:”. It means hypertext transfer protocol and refers to the method by which a file of knowledge is transferred.

The Aquarius sign is one that incorporates intelligent thought as well. It is less a case of straight forward scientific thinking and more a case of thinking outside the box. The Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, the radical who finds the routine boring and painful. By turning to the fringes of thinking, the Aquarius is intelligent in that he thinks through complex issues. On the other hand, the Aquarius is willing to be suckered into conspiracy theories and the like as well. As a result, the Aquarius is intelligent, but often not in a constructive manner. For instance, Charles Darwin was an Aquarius.



There are certain signs that lend themselves to a more subtle intelligence, a bit more indirect than we are used to. The Pisces sign is this way. Pisces are dreamers who do not get overly excited. They tend to be poor at dealing with daily activities, but can think through some amazingly complex issues by inserting themselves into dreams about the issues. Albert Einstein did this. The great physicist pictured himself as a molecule in space and applied his theories to this manifestation. Other intelligent Pisces included Arthur Schopenhauer, Anais Nin, Nicolaus Copernicus, Alan Greenspan, Bobby Fisher, and Michelangelo.

Which is the most intelligent zodiac sign? Gemini certainly seems to lead the field, but it is a subjective measurement by any measure to say the least!
